“You Are Special!” Foundation continues to
bring The
“You Are Special!” foundation has been created to make birthday cakes for
disadvantaged children and adults in the Grayson County area. Roxanne Jennings, founder of “You Are Special!”, formed the
foundation in memory of her late mother-in-law who was dedicated to bringing
happiness to the lives of those who otherwise may not have had their birthdays
celebrated or recognized
in any way. The “You Are Special!” foundation will bake birthday cakes and deliver them on the recipient’s birthday. Along with a cake, a decorated acrylic frame – that will be affectionately displaying the words “You Are Special!” with a photo of the child along with a gift. Also, each child receives a
copy of the Max Lucado, "You Are Special" All
of these
children and adults need some extra love and the “You Are Special!” Foundation
believes that making people feel special helps to build confidence so that we can all
